From the pond to the ruins of the castle! A rich and original route

This Biodiversity Trail highlights the biodiversity of the forest and the Verneuil-en-Halatte castle. Conceived by the association “l’Agrion de l’Oise”, this path, marked out in blue, is decorated with about twenty panels on history, insects, fauna and flora.
This pleasant path leads to the Mare aux Daims, where Henri IV may have bathed in the past, then goes deep into the forest, before going up on the plateau towards the remains of the Château, which he offered to his mistress Henriette d’Entragues. A beautiful point of view awaits you there! You just have to take the downhill path to get back to the starting point.
